1 banana or a Fruit puree 180/200 ml of breast milk or formula

4 tablespoons of DolceBaby Durum Wheat Semolina

10 g organic ricotta cheese

The DolceBaby Durum Wheat Semolina is ideal for the first period of weaning the infant, in addition to being an excellent base for the preparation of baby food of richer taste. Read through our recipe of Sweet corn semolina with banana and organic ricotta cheese.


Pour 180/200 ml of breast milk or formula in a saucepan and bring to a boil. As soon as the milk is hot, put it in a bowl and combine, little by little, 4 tablespoons of DolceBaby Durum Wheat Semolina. Stir until frothy. In the meantime peel the banana and remove its ends and bruised parts. Get a basket for steaming and put the sliced banana in it. Insert the basket in a pot filled with a little bit of water, previously brought to boil, and cook for 10 minutes. In this way, the fruit will keep all its nutrients. Alternatively, you can cook the banana directly in the boiling water for a few minutes or use the fruits puree, to get a richer taste. As soon as the banana is cooked, mash it with a fork until it becomes a smooth puree and join it to the mixture of semolina and milk. Add 10 g organic ricotta cheese and mix all the ingredients to obtain a soft and velvety cream. Note: the doses of this recipe are approximate and may vary according to the age and appetite of your baby. Ask the opinion of the pediatrician to choose the best dose.
